It was such an amazing and gratefully received endorsement of our tow floats with some great tips for open water swimming safely we had to turn it into a blog so everyone could read it.
Mark Smith, President of the Royal Life Saving Society UK & Ireland said:

Before I go in the water I risk assess everything, make sure there is somewhere safe to get out, have a plan if something goes wrong, monitor the flow, temperature and whats in the water, and understand what other river users there are - the final part of this is the Swim Secure tow float that makes me visible and provides somewhere to rest if I got into difficulty.
I wouldn’t explore somewhere like this without it. I got such a positive reaction using my tow float on this stretch of river with boaters, paddlers and walkers all wanting to stop for a chat and commend its use.
