Sal Minty-Gravett MBE
Sal Anne Minty-Gravett, M.B.E. (16 July 1957) from Jersey is a pool and open water swimming coach and open water swimmer who was inducted as an Honour Swimmer in the International Marathon Swimming Hall of Fame in 2005 and is a member of the Half Century Club for her fifth crossing of the English Channel in 2013 in 17 hours 48 minutes at the age of 56 years and a member of the 24-hour Club for her 36 hour 26 minute two-way crossing of the English Channel in 2016.
Sal is a great advocate for open water swimming safely. There is so much she has achieved and done for the swimming community and continues to do. A perfect fit for helping us share the Be Safer Be Seen message for open water swimmers.
